I don't even know how to describe it. The first few chapters seemed to be so boring and the writing so slow and simple that I've nearly given up on reading it... Until I read the first "slam". Then I've realized it's not that simple after all and decided to give it a chance.
I'm so happy I did. Because it's quite an unusual book with a philosophical touch to it that I think everyone will learn from. When they say it's about "poetry" I didn't expect this. It's so much more than that! And the "slams" (all of them) are truly amazing.
This book is beautiful and mesmerizing. It stands out. It teaches you a lot and leaves you with some afterthoughts. I'm sure everyone who has read it will remember it for a while.
I know I definitely will.
I also know I will never judge a book by the first few chapters again!
