As the series progress, it gets better. The characters grew on me in this instalment. There's also some action that spiced things up a bit. I'm still confused about how the main guys' relationship could play out (or if at all!), so that keeps me intrigued. I like nothing better than a slow development. And so far so good. I might have preferred these books longer, so we could have more insight into the MCs, and therefore build more connection. But, perhaps, by the time I'm finished with the series, my curiosity will be satisfied, and questions answered.
